Emergency Responders
Palmer Gas / Ermer Oil Company has sent many area firefighters to the Mass Fire Academy for the 3 day propane training course. This is a “hands on” propane training course that includes fighting propane fires under multiple scenarios at the Fire Academy’s state of the art facility. We have also done live fire training for most of the surrounding town fire departments, and anytime they request it, we have also done a variety of classroom training. It is a good feeling when the local fire officials call us for help or advice. We also have 5 employees who have participated in the same Mass Fire Academy live fire training; they are all registered emergency responders. So if there was a propane emergency anywhere in the US, our employees would be able to respond.
